Complete Blue&Me Repair Kit

BeM FIX is a complete professional solution for repairing and reprogramming first and second generation Blue&Me FCA units installed on Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Abarth vehicles.

The kit allows you to work on first-generation units based on Xilinx XC3S400 and second-generation units based on ARM STA2062.

It comes with a programmer, adapters, replacement NAND chips, positioning jigs, reballing support, and consumables, making it ready to use for the main repair operations.

It supports the main configurations equipped with the following NAND chips:

• Micron NQ278;
• Micron NW190;
• Micron NW140;
• Samsung K9F1G08R0B;
• Samsung K9F5608U0D.

The actual configuration must be verified by identifying the platform, the memory code, and the unit’s part number.

Main Issues Addressed

BeM FIX is designed to repair Blue&Me units showing symptoms such as:

• flashing odometer;
• non-working USB port;
• non-working Bluetooth connection;
• unable to pair the phone;
• non-working navigation system;
• intermittent steering wheel controls;
• non-working hands-free system;
• proxy alignment cannot be performed;
• abnormal power draw causing battery drain;
• U1733 error related to the infotainment or telematics node;
• P0022 error related to the Convergence node on the CAN network.

Initial vehicle diagnostics remain necessary to confirm that the issue is actually attributable to the Blue&Me unit.

NAND Chip Programming

The kit includes the XGecu Pro T56 universal programmer and the VFBGA63 adapter with two interchangeable frames:

This configuration allows you to read, program, and verify compatible NAND chips used in the main supported Blue&Me versions.

Reballing and Positioning

The HTX90 universal support automatically centers the component using four synchronized locking points.

The dedicated BGA63 stencil is secured using the support’s magnetic clamps, allowing reballing of the NAND chips included in the kit.

The three BeM FIX jigs help ensure correct placement of the memory chip on the circuit board during reflow:

The kit purchase includes the BeM FIX Support Plan, which grants access to the reserved area, the BeM FIX Files Service, technical content, and dedicated support.

The kit includes a total of 30 BeM FIX credits:

• 20 credits included in the BeM FIX Support Plan

• 10 credits included in the BeM FIX Files Service UP10

30 total credits available

• 1 credit = processing of 1 Blue&Me file

Credits are linked to the customer’s BeM FIX account and can be used directly through the dedicated portal.

The 30 included credits allow for up to 30 BeM FIX Files Service jobs without purchasing additional packages.

Once the included credits are used up, you can top up your account by purchasing additional BeM FIX Files Service packages.

Workflow

1. Identify the Blue&Me unit version and the installed memory.
2. Remove the NAND chip using proper rework procedures.
3. Read and save the original content using the XGecu Pro T56.
4. Upload the file to the BeM FIX portal.
5. Receive the processed file via the Files Service.
6. Prepare the replacement memory chip and perform reballing.
7. Program and verify the NAND chip.
8. Position the component using the dedicated jig.
9. Reflow the memory chip onto the board.
10. Install and test the unit on the vehicle.

The kit does not include a hot air station, preheater, microscope, or other bench equipment not explicitly listed in the contents.

Important Information

BeM FIX is intended for professional technicians and specialized workshops.

Before any repair work, you must create and keep an intact copy of the original memory content.

Compatibility with a given part number does not eliminate the need to verify the hardware platform and the type of NAND chip actually installed.

Blue&Me units, circuit boards, and tools shown in demonstrative images are not included.
