TRW AIRBAG – 25640 EEPROM (FCA)

Professional service for TRW Airbag control units equipped with 25640 EEPROM memory.

The service allows for Crash Reset, PROXI Alignment, and VIN Programming operations.

Work can be performed via file processing or through complete module processing.

AVAILABLE OPERATIONS

Crash Reset
Restoration of crash data stored in the 25640 EEPROM of the Airbag control unit.

For this operation, you must provide the 25640 EEPROM dump of the control unit to be restored.

PROXI Alignment
Modification of the Airbag control unit configuration data to make it compatible with the target vehicle.

PROXI Alignment can be performed using one of the following combinations:

• EEPROM dump of the original Airbag control unit + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control unit;
• dump of the vehicle’s Body Computer + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control unit.

The target Airbag control unit must be compatible with the intended application.

VIN Programming
Modification of the VIN chassis number stored in the Airbag control unit.

For this operation, you must provide the 25640 EEPROM dump and indicate the new VIN to be programmed.

SERVICE MODALITIES

File processing
The customer independently reads the 25640 EEPROM and sends the original file along with any additional files required for the selected operation.

After verification of the received material, the processed file is returned ready to be programmed into the control unit.

Complete module processing
The customer sends the Airbag control unit directly to our facility.

Our technicians will handle the memory reading, execution of the selected operations, programming of the processed file, and necessary verifications before returning the module.

In the case of PROXI Alignment, the original Airbag control unit or the vehicle’s Body Computer file must also be provided when necessary, depending on the processing method used.

REQUIRED DATA

Crash Reset

• 25640 EEPROM dump of the Airbag control unit.

PROXI Alignment

• EEPROM dump of the original Airbag control unit + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control unit;
• or dump of the vehicle’s Body Computer + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control unit.

VIN Programming

• 25640 EEPROM dump of the Airbag control unit;
• new VIN to be programmed.

PROCEDURE – FILE PROCESSING

• Select one or more required operations.
• Complete the order.
• Read the 25640 EEPROM of the Airbag control unit.
• Send the necessary files indicating the order reference.
• Wait for technical verification of the received material.
• Program the processed file into the control unit.

PROCEDURE – COMPLETE MODULE PROCESSING

• Select one or more required operations and the complete processing mode.
• Complete the order.
• Ship the Airbag control unit to our facility, clearly indicating the order reference.
• Provide any additional modules or files necessary for the selected operation.
• Wait for the processing to be completed.
• The module will be returned via the shipping method selected during checkout.

MODULE SHIPPING

Shipping the control unit to our facility is organized and paid for by the customer.

The shipping costs calculated during checkout refer exclusively to the return shipping of the processed module.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In the case of file processing, the correct identification of the control unit, memory reading, and subsequent file programming remain the responsibility of the customer.

Before performing the Crash Reset, it is necessary to check and repair any hardware faults or defective components in the SRS system.

For PROXI Alignment, the target Airbag control unit must be compatible with the vehicle and the intended configuration.

Incomplete, corrupt, or incorrectly acquired dumps may necessitate a new reading.
