Ferrari and Maserati Bosch ME7.3.2 95160 EEPROM

Professional service dedicated to Bosch ME7.3.2 engine control units equipped with 95160 EEPROM installed on Ferrari and Maserati vehicles.

These applications use two distinct engine ECUs, one dedicated to the right bank and one to the left bank. Processing must therefore be performed using data from both units.

ECU Virginization

Restoration of the initialization status of the immobilizer data stored in the engine control units, intended for subsequent adaptation of the ECUs to the vehicle.

For this operation, you must provide:

• 95160 EEPROM dump from the right bank ECU;
• 95160 EEPROM dump from the left bank ECU.

Files from both ECUs are required to correctly perform the processing.

VIN Programming

Programming or modification of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) stored in the engine control unit data.

For this operation, you must provide:

• 95160 EEPROM dump from the right bank ECU;
• 95160 EEPROM dump from the left bank ECU;
• new VIN to be programmed.

The VIN is processed taking into account both control units in the system.

Service Methods

File processing

The customer independently performs the reading of the 95160 EEPROMs from both engine ECUs and sends the relative dumps to Tsec Engineering.

The service includes:

• verification of the compliance of the received files;
• identification of the right ECU and left ECU;
• execution of the selected operations;
• data processing;
• return of the files ready for programming.

This method is completely digital and does not require physical shipping of the control units.

Required Data

To perform the service, the following are required:

• 95160 EEPROM dump from the right bank ECU;
• 95160 EEPROM dump from the left bank ECU;
• new VIN, if VIN Programming was selected;
• any additional information requested by technical support.

The two files must be clearly identified as right ECU and left ECU to avoid any inversion during processing.

Procedure

1. Purchase the service by selecting the required operations.
2. Read the 95160 EEPROM of both engine ECUs using a compatible programmer.
3. Clearly identify the files as right bank and left bank.
4. Send both files indicating the order reference.
5. In case of VIN Programming, indicate the new chassis number to be programmed.
6. Wait for the technical verification of the received files.
7. Receive the processed files.
8. Program each file into its respective ECU.

Important Information

The product exclusively includes the operations selected during purchase.

Any control units shown in images are for illustrative purposes and are not included with the product.

Files for both engine ECUs must be provided for both operations. A file from only one control unit is not sufficient to perform the service.

Incomplete, corrupted, or incorrectly acquired dumps may necessitate a new reading.

The service does not correct any hardware defects in the ECUs.
