Professional service dedicated to Bosch ME7.3/6 engine control units installed on Ferrari 360 Modena, Spider and Challenge.

The vehicle uses two separate engine ECUs, one dedicated to the right bank and one to the left bank. Processing must therefore be performed taking both units into account.

Available Operations

Cloning

Transfer of necessary data from the original engine control units to the respective destination control units.

Cloning is available exclusively as a complete service with physical shipment of the control units.

To correctly perform cloning, the following must be sent:

• original right bank ECU;
• original left bank ECU;
• destination right bank ECU;
• destination left bank ECU.

The four control units must be clearly identified as original/destination and right/left bank.

The destination ECUs must be technically compatible with the original units.

IMMO OFF

Processing of immobilizer data present in the engine control units to disable the immobilizer function.

For this service it is necessary to provide the files of both ECUs, therefore both the file of the right bank control unit and that of the left bank.

Providing the file of only one control unit is not sufficient.

Service Methods

File processing

Available for the IMMO OFF operation.

The customer independently reads both engine ECUs and sends the respective files to Tsec Engineering.

The service includes:

• verification of received file compliance;
• immobilizer data processing;
• return of processed files ready for programming.

This method is completely digital and does not require physical shipment of the control units.

Complete Control Unit Service

Available for Cloning.

The customer physically sends all necessary control units to Tsec Engineering. The laboratory handles the entire process:

• identification of ECUs and respective banks;
• reading of necessary memories;
• data verification;
• data transfer to destination ECUs;
• programming;
• final inspection.

For cloning, four control units in total must be sent: the two original ECUs and the two destination ECUs.

Required Data

Depending on the selected operation, the following are required:

• IMMO OFF: right bank ECU file + left bank ECU file;
• Cloning: original right ECU + original left ECU + destination right ECU + destination left ECU;
• any additional information requested by technical support.

Procedure

IMMO OFF – File Processing

1. Purchase the service by selecting IMMO OFF.
2. Read both engine ECUs.
3. Send both files clearly indicating right bank and left bank.
4. Indicate the order reference.
5. Wait for technical verification of received files.
6. Receive the processed files.
7. Program the files into the respective ECUs.

Cloning – Complete Service

1. Purchase the service by selecting Cloning.
2. Clearly identify the four ECUs as original/destination and right/left.
3. Ship all four control units to Tsec Engineering.
4. Wait for service execution and final inspection.
5. Receive the processed control units at the address indicated in the order.

Shipping

For cloning, shipping of the control units to Tsec Engineering must be organized and paid for by the customer.

Shipping costs calculated at checkout refer exclusively to the return of processed material.

Important Information

The product includes exclusively the services selected during purchase.

Any control units shown in the images are for illustrative purposes and are not included in the product.

Incomplete, corrupted or incorrectly acquired files may require a new reading.

The service does not correct any hardware defects of the ECUs.

For cloning, the destination control units must be technically compatible with the original ECUs.

In case of doubt about compatibility, contact technical support before purchase, indicating the Part Numbers and attaching legible photographs of the labels of the original and destination ECUs.
