Complete HFM module repair

With BeMFIX Fix&Go, you entrust the entire HFM module repair process to TSEC Engineering technicians.

We handle the initial diagnosis, original data recovery, electronic repair, memory programming, and final testing of the unit.

The module is returned repaired, tested, and ready to be reinstalled on the vehicle.

What the service includes

The BeMFIX Fix&Go service includes:

• initial diagnostic test;
• verification of the unit’s electronic status;
• recovery of the configuration file and proxy data;
• NAND memory programming and replacement;
• restoration of the module’s original data;
• bench functional testing;
• VIN (chassis number) programming, when requested;
• preparation and shipping of the repaired unit;
• 24-month warranty on the work performed.

Installation on the same vehicle

When the repaired module is reinstalled on the same vehicle from which it was removed, a new proxy alignment is normally not necessary, as the unit’s original data is maintained and restored.

A proxy alignment might still be necessary in the presence of pre-existing anomalies, changes to the vehicle configuration, or replacement of other control units.

Installation on a different vehicle

The service can also be requested to install the HFM module on a different vehicle.

In this case, it is necessary to provide the full VIN of the vehicle on which the module will be installed.

The VIN will be programmed into the unit during processing.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. An incorrect VIN may require the module to be reprogrammed.

Unit conditions

The unit must not have been previously opened, tampered with, or subjected to repair attempts by third parties.

Any missing components, damaged traces, replaced memories, non-original soldering, or other previous interventions may render the module irreparable or exclude it from the standard service conditions.

Irreparable units

If, after the initial test, the module is found to be irreparable, the service cost will be fully refunded.

The following are excluded from the refund:

• costs incurred by the customer for sending the module;
• shipping costs required for the return of the unrepaired unit, should the customer request its return.

Alternatively, the customer may authorize the disposal of the unit without requesting its return.

24-month warranty

The repair is covered by a 24-month warranty.

The warranty applies exclusively to the work performed and the components replaced by TSEC Engineering.

The following are excluded from the warranty:

• damage caused by incorrect installation;
• liquid ingress;
• overvoltages or anomalies in the vehicle’s electrical system;
• impacts or mechanical damage;
• subsequent tampering with the unit;
• faults other than the one subject to repair;
• problems caused by wiring, other control units, or components external to the module.

Service procedure

1. Purchase the BeMFIX Fix&Go service.
2. Remove the HFM module from the vehicle.
3. Carefully pack the unit to protect it during transport.
4. Ship the module to the address provided after the order.
5. Indicate the order number and the fault encountered.
6. In case of installation on another vehicle, provide the VIN to be programmed.
7. Wait for the completion of diagnosis, repair, and final testing.
8. Receive the repaired module, ready to be reinstalled.

Information to be provided

To facilitate processing, we recommend indicating:

• vehicle make and model;
• year of registration;
• code shown on the module label;
• fault encountered;
• any anomalies present on the vehicle;
• order number;
• VIN, exclusively in case of installation on a different vehicle.

Shipping warnings

The module must be shipped without brackets, casings, or unnecessary components, unless otherwise indicated.

Use rigid packaging and adequate protective material. TSEC Engineering is not responsible for any damage caused by insufficient packaging during transport to the laboratory.
