ZF AIRBAG – INFINEON TC234L-32F MCU

Professional service dedicated to ZF Airbag / SRS control units equipped with the Infineon TC234L-32F microcontroller, used in numerous FCA group applications.

Crash Reset, PROXI Alignment, VIN Programming, and B0100:49 / B0102:00 error reset operations are available.

Processing is performed on the microcontroller’s D-Flash content.

The service is available as both file processing and complete ECU service.

Crash Reset
Required dump: Infineon TC234L-32F MCU D-Flash

Allows for the removal of crash data stored in the Airbag control unit following a collision event, restoring the memory content on compatible versions.

Service compatibility is verified based on the specific hardware and software version of the control unit.

PROXI Alignment
Required dump: Infineon TC234L-32F MCU D-Flash

Allows for the modification of Airbag control unit configuration data required for correct PROXI alignment of the module on the vehicle.

Processing is verified based on the specific configuration of the control unit and the vehicle.

VIN Programming
Required dump: Infineon TC234L-32F MCU D-Flash

Allows for the modification of the VIN number stored in the Airbag control unit.

You must provide the original D-Flash dump and the new VIN to be programmed.

B0100:49 / B0102:00 Error Reset – Internal ECU Fault
Required dump: Infineon TC234L-32F MCU D-Flash

Allows for intervention on internal control unit data associated with persistent errors B0100:49 and B0102:00, when the issue is attributable to data stored in the MCU and the control unit is compatible with the service.

Service availability is verified on the specific hardware and software version of the control unit.

SERVICE MODALITIES

File processing

The customer independently performs the reading of the control unit and sends the D-Flash content of the Infineon TC234L-32F MCU.

The dump must come from the control unit to be processed, be complete, and correctly read.

For VIN programming, the new VIN to be programmed must also be provided.

Once processing is complete, the modified file will be returned, ready to be programmed into the control unit.

Complete ECU service

Alternatively, you can physically send the unit to Tsec Engineering.

The laboratory will directly handle ECU identification, D-Flash reading, compatibility verification, execution of requested services, programming, and final testing.

Shipping the ECU to Tsec Engineering is at the customer’s care and expense. The fees selected during checkout refer exclusively to the return shipping of the processed control unit.

COMPATIBILITY AND FILE REQUIREMENTS

ZF Airbag control units can be equipped with different hardware and software versions.

The availability of individual services is therefore verified based on the specific control unit version and the original vehicle configuration.

For file processing, the complete content of the Infineon TC234L-32F MCU D-Flash must be provided.

The sent dump must come from the control unit to be processed, be complete, and correctly read.

Corrupted, incomplete, or previously modified files may require additional verification or may not be compatible with the requested service.

Certain operations can only be performed when the data present in the control unit is consistent and sufficient for the requested processing.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Crash Reset intervenes exclusively on the data stored in the Airbag control unit.

Before reinstalling the control unit on the vehicle, all SRS system components affected by the collision event must be verified and, when necessary, replaced or restored.

Clearing crash data does not resolve hardware failures, faulty wiring, damaged sensors, activated pretensioners, or other non-functioning SRS components.

The reset of errors B0100:49 / B0102:00 is applicable only when the cause is attributable to data stored in the control unit. Internal ECU hardware failures cannot be resolved through file processing alone.
