The Sn63Pb37 tin/lead solder wire spool is a high-quality electronic soldering wire, with a diameter of 0.5 mm and a weight of 454 g.
The Sn63/Pb37 alloy is a eutectic tin/lead alloy with a melting point of 183 °C, valued for its excellent flow characteristics, stability and solder joint quality. It is particularly suitable for precision electronics soldering applications requiring reliability and good mechanical strength.
The wire features a 2.2% rosin-activated (RA) flux core, which provides greater activity than standard rosin fluxes and is also suitable for surfaces that are more difficult to solder.
The flux is classified as ROM1 according to IPC J-STD-004.
The 454 g / 1 lb spool is ideal for electronics workshops, technical repair services, electronics manufacturing and soldering workstations where solder wire is used frequently.
Ideal for:
- Professional electronics soldering
- PCB rework and repairs
- Precision soldering
- Through-hole components and wiring
- Hard-to-solder surfaces
- Electronics workshops and repair centres
- Frequent soldering work at the bench
- Applications requiring Sn63Pb37 alloy with activated rosin (RA) flux
