ERSA i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 is a professional 4-channel multi-channel station designed for a complete soldering, SMD/PTH desoldering, hot air and electronic rework workstation.

This version represents the full configuration of the i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 family: it integrates hot air and vacuum pump in the same central unit and is supplied with four professional ERSA tools: i-TOOL MK2, CHIP TOOL VARIO, X-TOOL VARIO and i-TOOL AIR S.

The i-TOOL MK2 is a lightweight, ergonomic and powerful soldering iron, suitable for daily use in laboratories, technical service and electronics production. The 150W power, rapid thermal recovery and temperature stability allow for precise work even on sensitive boards and components.

The CHIP TOOL VARIO is a 2x40W desoldering tweezer designed for controlled removal of SMD components. The compact structure and the ability to work with dedicated tips allow for precise interventions on small components and high-density electronic boards.

The X-TOOL VARIO is a 150W desoldering iron designed for the removal of PTH leaded components, even on boards with high thermal masses. The integrated vacuum pump in the station allows for direct use of the desoldering iron without the need for a separate external vacuum unit.

The i-TOOL AIR S is a 200W hot air tool suitable for SMD rework, localized preheating and interventions where non-contact thermal transfer is required. The adjustable air volume from 2 to 20 l/min and the hot air temperature range from 50 °C to 550 °C allow the process to be adapted to the component and the board being processed.

The station allows for the simultaneous connection and use of four compatible tools, according to the manufacturer’s specified combinations. The maximum power of 500W and multi-channel management make the i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 a platform suitable for professional workstations requiring multiple operating technologies in the same work area.

The station integrates a multi-function digital display, two One-Touch software controls, advanced management of work parameters and two microSD slots for firmware updates. Rear interfaces allow for the connection of compatible external devices, such as fume extraction and preheating systems, in addition to the USB port and service connections.

The included tools support the automatic stand-by function via motion sensor, useful for reducing tip and nozzle wear, containing consumption and improving operational safety during work breaks.

Thanks to the ESD antistatic structure, the station is suitable for professional use in EPA areas and on electronic boards with components sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
