ERSA i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 ESD with X-TOOL VARIO and i-TOOL AIR S

ERSA i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 is a professional 2-channel multifunction station designed to create a complete soldering, desoldering and electronic rework workstation.

Compared to the more compact i-CON stations, the VARIO series offers a more advanced and modular platform, designed to handle different tools, integrated functions and more complex work on electronic boards, SMD/PTH components and lead-free applications.

This version is based on the i-CON VARIO 2P MK2 station with integrated vacuum pump and hot air. The integrated vacuum pump allows work with desoldering tools such as X-TOOL VARIO, without the need for a separate external vacuum unit, while the hot air function allows direct use of the i-TOOL AIR S.

The kit includes the X-TOOL VARIO 150W, a professional vacuum desoldering tool, designed for removing PTH components and for desoldering work on electronic boards even with higher thermal mass. The station’s integrated vacuum pump reaches up to 700 mbar, offering a compact and complete solution for professional desoldering.

The kit also includes the i-TOOL AIR S 200W, a compact and ergonomic hot air tool, suitable for SMD rework, localized preheating, component removal and applications requiring contactless heat transfer. The hot air range from 50 °C to 550 °C and adjustable air volume from 2 to 20 l/min allow the process to be adapted to the component and board being worked on.

The station features a multifunction digital display, One-Touch software control, advanced work parameter management and a microSD slot for firmware updates. The rear interfaces allow connection of compatible external devices, such as fume extractors and preheating systems.

The tools support an automatic stand-by function via sensor, useful for reducing tip and nozzle wear, cutting energy consumption and improving operational safety during work breaks.

Thanks to its antistatic ESD structure, the station is suitable for professional use on electronic boards and components sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
