AIRBAG TRW – EEPROM 95128 / 95640

Professional data processing and service for TRW Airbag control modules used on Porsche applications and equipped with EEPROM 95128 or 95640 memory.

The service allows Crash Reset, VIN Programming and ECU Cloning operations, depending on the selected service mode.

AVAILABLE OPERATIONS

Crash Reset

Allows removal of crash event data from the Airbag control module, restoring the content necessary for module reuse.

For file processing, the following must be provided:

• EEPROM 95128 or 95640 content

The operation is available both via file processing and via complete module service.

VIN Programming

Allows modification of the VIN stored in the Airbag control module.

For file processing, the following must be provided:

• EEPROM 95128 or 95640 content
• New VIN to be programmed

The operation is available both via file processing and via complete module service.

ECU Cloning

Allows transfer of the necessary data from the original control module to the destination control module.

Cloning is performed exclusively via complete module service.

The following must be sent:

• Original Airbag control module
• Destination Airbag control module

To ensure correct compatibility, the two control modules must have the same part numbers.

SERVICE MODALITIES

File processing

The customer independently reads the EEPROM memory of the control module and sends us the required file.

For Crash Reset and VIN Programming operations, the content of the 95128 or 95640 memory must be provided, depending on the control module version.

Once processing is complete, the modified file ready to be written to the control module will be returned.

This mode is available for:

• Crash Reset
• VIN Programming

Complete module service

The customer physically ships the Airbag control module to Tsec Engineering.

The laboratory handles the reading, processing and programming of the module directly.

This mode is available for:

• Crash Reset
• VIN Programming
• ECU Cloning

For cloning, both the original control module and the destination control module must be sent.

REQUIRED DATA

Depending on the selected operation:

• Crash Reset: EEPROM 95128 or 95640 content
• VIN Programming: EEPROM 95128 or 95640 content + new VIN
• Cloning: original control module + destination control module with the same part numbers

FILE PROCESSING PROCEDURE

After purchasing the service:

• Read the EEPROM 95128 or 95640 memory content
• Send the file following the instructions received with the order
• Specify the new VIN in case of VIN Programming
• Wait for the processed file to be returned
• Write the modified file to the control module

Correct reading and writing of the module remain the customer’s responsibility when the File processing mode is selected.

MODULE SHIPPING

In case of complete service, the control module must be shipped to Tsec Engineering at the customer’s expense and responsibility.

For cloning, both modules must be shipped, clearly identifying:

• Original control module
• Destination control module

The shipping costs selected during checkout refer exclusively to the return shipping of the serviced material.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Before purchasing the service, verify that the control module corresponds to one of the supported TRW versions with EEPROM 95128 or 95640 memory.

For cloning, a destination control module with the same part numbers as the original control module must be used.
