The ERSA CHIP TOOL VARIO is a professional SMD desoldering tweezer designed for precision work on small electronic components. With 2 × 40W power and a compact design, it allows for controlled, fast and precise desoldering and rework of SMD components.
The pairs of heating elements are plug-in and can be precisely aligned directly on the handle, allowing for accurate tip adjustment based on the component being worked on. The integrated switching system allows for toggling between self-closing and self-opening modes, making the tool suitable for various operating techniques.
Like other professional tools in the ERSA i-CON range, the CHIP TOOL VARIO integrates a motion sensor for automatic activation from stand-by. This feature helps reduce energy consumption, limit tip wear and keep the tool ready for use during repetitive tasks.
The tweezers are supplied with tip set 0462MDLF007 and are compatible with ERSA i-CON 1V, i-CON 2V, i-CON VARIO 2 and i-CON VARIO 4 stations, according to the manufacturer's specified sockets and combinations.
