Professional universal programmer
The XGecu Pro T56 is designed for reading, writing, verifying, and testing a wide range of memories and integrated circuits.
The internal architecture combines a 200 MHz 32-bit microcontroller with a Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA, offering 56 high-performance programming pins and a pin operating frequency of up to 50 MHz.
It is suitable for electronics labs, repair centers, automotive applications, data recovery, hardware development, and electronic component programming.
Supported devices
Depending on the component code and the adapter installed, the XGecu Pro T56 supports numerous device families, including:
- serial EEPROMs;
- parallel EPROMs and EEPROMs;
- NOR Flash memories;
- SPI NOR memories;
- SPI NAND memories;
- 8-bit and 16-bit parallel NAND Flash memories;
- eMMC memories;
- microcontrollers;
- GAL and CPLD devices;
- SRAM and logic circuits;
- ISP-programmable devices.
The list is expanded through XGecu software updates. Before purchasing, it is still necessary to check that the complete device code is included in the official T56 list.
NAND and eMMC programming
The T56 supports NAND Flash memories up to 256 Gb, including 8-bit and 16-bit configurations and 1.8 V devices.
It also supports eMMC memories, with declared read speeds indicatively ranging from 14 to 45 MB/s, depending on the device and configuration used.
Dedicated eMMC functions include, depending on the device supported:
- reading and writing partitions;
- analysis of memory content;
- management of production operations;
- loading of projects and configurations;
- simultaneous programming using multiple programmers connected to the same computer.
ISP interface
The programmer integrates an 8-pin ISP interface for in-circuit programming operations, without necessarily removing the component from the board.
XGecu states reliable communication up to 25 MHz via the ISP cable and frequencies up to 40–50 MHz for some applications on series 25 memories and eMMC.
The actual ability to program a component on the board depends on the circuit, the available connections, and the guidance provided in the software.
Programmable voltages
The T56 allows operating voltages to be adjusted to suit devices from different generations:
| Parameter | Range |
|---|---|
| VCC voltage | 1.2 V to 6.5 V |
| VPP voltage | 6.5 V to 25 V |
| I/O signal voltage | 1.2 V to 3.6 V |
| VCC current limit | 120 mA to 320 mA |
| VPP current limit | 120 mA |
VCC and VPP voltages are adjustable across 64 levels.
Built-in protections
The programmer features protection and diagnostic functions to reduce the risk of damage to the device and the hardware:
- overvoltage protection;
- overcurrent protection;
- protection against reverse polarity of the external power supply;
- insufficient voltage warning;
- programmable current limiting;
- self-diagnostic function for the VPP, VCC, GND, and I/O lines.
The declared normal current draw is less than 500 mA at 5 V, and for common operations components can be powered directly by the programmer.
Interchangeable adapters
The XGecu Pro T56 can be used with dedicated adapters for various packages, including:
- TSOP32, TSOP40, TSOP48, and TSOP56;
- VFBGA48 and VFBGA63;
- BGA64;
- eMMC;
- SOP, SOIC, and PLCC;
- other packages indicated by the software.
The required adapter varies depending on the component’s code and package. Adapters are not included unless otherwise specified in the commercial package.
Applications
The programmer can be used for:
- programming and duplicating memories;
- repairing automotive ECUs and modules;
- reading NAND and eMMC;
- data recovery and transfer;
- programming BIOS and firmware;
- development and testing of electronic boards;
- testing compatible integrated circuits;
- research and prototyping activities.

Software, manual, and device list
Download the XGecu software, the operating manual, and the updated list of supported devices from the Attachments section of the product page.
The device list is updated with new software versions. Always check compatibility before purchasing and before connecting the component to the programmer.
Compatibility check
The presence of a memory family among those supported does not automatically guarantee compatibility with every single component.
Before purchasing, check:
- complete device code and manufacturer;
- package;
- supply voltage;
- required adapter;
- presence of the component in the XGecu list;
- any reading limitations or active protections;
- availability of ISP mode, when needed.
