ERSA i-TOOL MK2 is a professional 150W soldering iron designed for use with various ERSA stations of the i-CON and i-CON VARIO family.
The soldering iron integrates a high-performance heating element, capable of quickly reaching working temperature and ensuring very fast thermal recovery during soldering. ERSA states a heat-up time from room temperature to 350 °C in about 9 seconds and a recovery from stand-by to 280 °C in about 3 seconds.
The Tip'N'Turn system with bayonet mount allows the tip to be replaced quickly and easily, separating the heating element from the soldering tip. This solution simplifies maintenance, reduces downtime, and improves heat transfer compared to traditional fastening systems.
The i-TOOL MK2 is supplied with a permanent ERSADUR series 142 chisel tip, 1.6 mm, code 0142CDLF16, suitable for numerous electronic soldering applications in laboratory, technical service, and production environments.
Thanks to its antistatic ESD design, the soldering iron is suitable for professional use on electronic boards and components sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
