AIRBAG TRW – EEPROM 25640 (Iveco)

Professional service for TRW Airbag control modules equipped with EEPROM 25640 memory.

The service allows Crash Reset, PROXI Alignment and VIN Programming operations to be performed.

Processing can be carried out via file processing or through complete module processing.

AVAILABLE OPERATIONS

Crash Reset
Restoration of crash data stored in the EEPROM 25640 of the Airbag control module.

For this operation it is necessary to provide the EEPROM 25640 dump of the control module to be restored.

PROXI Alignment
Modification of the Airbag control module configuration data to make it compatible with the target vehicle.

PROXI Alignment can be performed using one of the following combinations:

• EEPROM dump of the original Airbag control module + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control module;
• dump of the vehicle Body Computer + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control module.

The target Airbag control module must be compatible with the intended application.

VIN Programming
Modification of the VIN chassis number stored in the Airbag control module.

For this operation it is necessary to provide the EEPROM 25640 dump and indicate the new VIN to be programmed.

SERVICE MODALITIES

File processing
The customer reads the EEPROM 25640 independently and sends the original file together with any additional files required for the selected operation.

After verification of the received material, the processed file is returned ready to be programmed into the control module.

Complete module processing
The customer sends the Airbag control module directly to our facility.

Our technicians will handle the memory reading, execution of the selected operations, programming of the processed file and the necessary checks before returning the module.

In case of PROXI Alignment, when necessary, the original Airbag control module or the vehicle Body Computer file must also be provided, depending on the method used for processing.

REQUIRED DATA

Crash Reset

• EEPROM 25640 dump of the Airbag control module.

PROXI Alignment

• EEPROM dump of the original Airbag control module + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control module;
• or dump of the vehicle Body Computer + EEPROM dump of the target Airbag control module.

VIN Programming

• EEPROM 25640 dump of the Airbag control module;
• new VIN to be programmed.

PROCEDURE – FILE PROCESSING

• Select one or more required operations.
• Complete the order.
• Read the EEPROM 25640 of the Airbag control module.
• Send the necessary files indicating the order reference.
• Wait for technical verification of the received material.
• Program the processed file into the control module.

PROCEDURE – COMPLETE MODULE PROCESSING

• Select one or more required operations and the complete processing mode.
• Complete the order.
• Ship the Airbag control module to our facility clearly indicating the order reference.
• Provide any additional modules or files necessary for the selected operation.
• Wait for processing to be completed.
• The module will be returned via the shipping method selected during checkout.

MODULE SHIPPING

Shipping of the control module to our facility is organized and paid for by the customer.

Shipping costs calculated during checkout refer exclusively to the return shipping of the processed module.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In case of file processing, correct identification of the control module, memory reading and subsequent programming of the file remain the customer’s responsibility.

Before performing Crash Reset it is necessary to check and repair any hardware faults or defective components of the SRS system.

For PROXI Alignment, the target Airbag control module must be compatible with the vehicle and the intended configuration.

Incomplete, corrupted or incorrectly acquired dumps may require a new reading.
