Description

The STMicroelectronics M93S56 is a 2 kbit serial uWIRE / Microwire EEPROM memory with 128 x 16 data organization.

It is suitable for electronic repair, component replacement, reading, writing and programming operations on compatible ECUs, automotive modules and electronic devices. Compared with the M93C56 series, this variant has dedicated specifications, with 2.5 V ~ 5.5 V supply voltage, 5 ms write cycle time and -40 °C ~ 85 °C operating temperature. The SO8/SOIC SMD package is easier to handle than BGA packages, but still requires suitable equipment for desoldering, soldering and component verification.
