VEONEER SC2 AIRBAG (RBG) – INFINEON TC222S-16F MCU

Professional data processing and service for Veoneer SC2 Airbag ECUs, identified in the PSA system as RBG and based on the Infineon Tricore TC222S-16F MCU.

Crash Reset

For file processing, you must provide:

The operation is available via both file processing and complete module processing.

VIN Programming

Allows for the modification of the chassis number (VIN) stored in the Airbag ECU.

For file processing, you must provide:

• D-Flash from the Infineon TC222S-16F MCU
• New VIN to be programmed

The operation is available via both file processing and complete module processing.

ECU Cloning

Allows for the transfer of necessary data from the original ECU to the target ECU.

Cloning is performed exclusively via complete module processing.

You must send:

• Original Airbag ECU
• Target Airbag ECU

To ensure correct compatibility, the two ECUs must have the same reference numbers.

SERVICE MODALITIES

File processing

The customer independently performs the ECU reading and sends us the required file.

For this ECU, reading the D-Flash of the Infineon TC222S-16F MCU is sufficient.

Once processing is complete, the modified file will be returned, ready to be written to the ECU.

This mode is available for:

• Crash Reset
• VIN Programming

Complete module processing

The customer physically sends the Airbag ECU to Tsec Engineering.

We will directly handle the reading, processing, and programming of the module.

This mode is available for:

• Crash Reset
• VIN Programming
• ECU Cloning

For cloning, both the original ECU and the target ECU must be sent.

REQUIRED DATA

Depending on the selected operation:

• Crash Reset: D-Flash
• VIN Programming: D-Flash + new VIN
• Clonazione: original ECU + target ECU with the same reference numbers

FILE PROCESSING PROCEDURE

After purchasing the service:

• Read the D-Flash of the Infineon TC222S-16F MCU
• Send the required file following the instructions received with the order
• Indicate the new VIN in the case of VIN Programming
• Wait for the return of the processed file
• Write the modified file to the ECU

Correct reading and writing of the module remains the customer’s responsibility when the File processing mode is selected.

MODULE SHIPPING

In the case of complete processing, the ECU must be shipped to Tsec Engineering at the customer’s care and expense.

For cloning, both modules must be shipped, clearly identifying:

• Original ECU
• Target ECU

The shipping costs selected during checkout refer exclusively to the return shipping of the processed material.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Before purchasing the service, verify that the ECU corresponds to the Veoneer SC2 family with Infineon TC222S-16F MCU.

For cloning, it is necessary to use a target ECU with the same reference numbers as the original ECU.
