BCM \/ BCMB JLR MCU MC9S12XET256<\/h4>\n

Professional service dedicated to Jaguar Land Rover BCM \/ BCMB modules equipped with the Freescale MC9S12XET256 (2M53J) microcontroller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This service allows intervention on the data stored in the module for Emulated EEPROM Recovery<\/strong> and Cloning<\/strong> operations.<\/p>\n

Available Operations<\/h4>\n

You may select one or more services depending on your requirements.<\/p>\n

Emulated EEPROM Recovery<\/strong><\/p>\n

Restoration of the emulated memory data of the BCM \/ BCMB module in case of corruption or loss of configuration.<\/p>\n

Faults typically associated with data corruption may include:<\/p>\n

  • instrument cluster failing to power on;<\/li>\n
  • inability to start the vehicle;<\/li>\n
  • malfunctions attributable to the loss or corruption of module data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This operation can be requested either as file processing<\/strong> or as a full module service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    For file processing, it is necessary to provide the readout of the microcontroller’s D-Flash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Cloning<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Transfer of the necessary data from the original BCM \/ BCMB module to a compatible target module.<\/p>\n

    Cloning is available exclusively as a full module service and requires the physical shipment of both the original and the target module.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Both modules must be clearly identified as original<\/strong> and target<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The target module must be technically compatible with the original unit.<\/p>\n

    Service Modes<\/h4>\n

    File processing<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This mode is available exclusively for Emulated EEPROM Recovery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The customer independently performs the D-Flash readout of the microcontroller and sends the corresponding dump to Tsec Engineering.<\/p>\n

    The service includes:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • integrity check of the received file;<\/li>\n
    • recovery of the Emulated EEPROM data;<\/li>\n
    • processing of the necessary data;<\/li>\n
    • return of the file ready for programming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This mode is fully digital and does not require the physical shipment of the BCM \/ BCMB module<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Full Module Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The customer physically ships the BCM \/ BCMB module to Tsec Engineering. The laboratory handles the entire process: <\/p>\n

        \n
      • module identification;<\/li>\n
      • reading of the required memory;<\/li>\n
      • data verification;<\/li>\n
      • execution of the selected operations;<\/li>\n
      • module programming;<\/li>\n
      • final testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        For Emulated EEPROM Recovery, it is sufficient to send the module to be restored.<\/p>\n

        For Cloning, both the original module and the target module<\/strong> must be sent.<\/p>\n

        Required Data<\/h4>\n

        Depending on the selected operation and service mode, the following are required:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Emulated EEPROM Recovery – File processing:<\/strong> D-Flash dump;<\/li>\n
        • Emulated EEPROM Recovery – Full module service:<\/strong> BCM \/ BCMB module to be restored;<\/li>\n
        • Cloning:<\/strong> original BCM \/ BCMB module and compatible target module;<\/li>\n
        • any additional information requested by technical support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Procedure<\/h4>\n

          File processing<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Purchase the service by selecting Emulated EEPROM Recovery.<\/li>\n
          2. Read the microcontroller’s D-Flash using a compatible programmer.<\/li>\n
          3. Send the file to Tsec Engineering, indicating the order reference.<\/li>\n
          4. Wait for technical verification of the received dump.<\/li>\n
          5. Receive the recovered Emulated EEPROM file.<\/li>\n
          6. Correctly repartition the microcontroller memory when required by the programming procedure.<\/li>\n
          7. Program the received file into the BCM \/ BCMB module.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Complete module service<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Purchase the service by selecting the required operations.<\/li>\n
            2. Ship the BCM \/ BCMB module to Tsec Engineering.<\/li>\n
            3. For Cloning, ship both the original module and the destination module, clearly identified.<\/li>\n
            4. Wait for service execution and final inspection.<\/li>\n
            5. Receive the processed material at the address specified in the order.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Shipping<\/h4>\n

              For complete service, shipping of modules to Tsec Engineering must be arranged and paid for by the customer.<\/p>\n

              Shipping costs calculated at checkout refer exclusively to the return of processed material<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

              Important information<\/h4>\n

              The product includes exclusively the operations selected during purchase.<\/p>\n

              The module shown in the images is for illustrative purposes only and is not included in the product.<\/strong><\/p>\n

              Incomplete, corrupted, or incorrectly acquired dumps may require a new reading.<\/p>\n

              The service does not correct any hardware defects of the BCM \/ BCMB module.<\/p>\n

              For complete services, any hardware damage or previous tampering may require additional checks before intervention.<\/p>\n

              For Cloning, the destination module must be technically compatible with the original module. The presence of the same connector or similar external appearance alone does not guarantee compatibility. <\/p>\n
